Garlic Fest Draws Huge Crowds to Easton

Easton's Garlic Fest returned to the city's downtown for its sixth year on Saturday, once again celebrating one of the food world's most pungent ingredients.

There were chef demonstrations, cooking contests, live music, and of course, multiple garlic dishes, from the samples offered at Pungent Plaza to the garlic wraps from the Khfarsghab Club.

The festival continues Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Centre Square and along Northampton and Third streets. Highlights include The 3 Mayors Cook Off (featuring the mayors of Easton, Allentown and Bethlehem paired with chefs from their cities) and the Dangerous Desserts Contest.
