Israeli-Palestinian Relations Expert to Speak at Lafayette

Gershon Baskin will speak Monday at Lafayette's Kirby Hall of Civil Rights.

Gershon Baskin, founder of the Jerusalem-based Israel/Palestine Center for Research, will speak next week at Lafayette College.

Baskin's talk is free, and is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 18 in the Kirby Hall of Civil Rights auditorium. 

He is cochair of the IPCRI, a joint Israeli-Palestinian public policy research think-tank, served as an advisor to Yitzhak Rabin on the peace process, and writes a regular column in the Jerusalem Post, called "Encountering Peace.”

The talk is sponsored by the departments of government and law, international affairs, history, foreign languages and literatures, and English as well as Hillel, Jewish studies program, and the college chaplain's office
