Hugh Moore Bridge Could Reopen This Week

After $1.4 million repair, bridge leading into Hugh Moore Park is ready for traffic again.

The bridge at Easton's Hugh Moore Park should reopen sometime this week, city public works director Dave Hopkins said Tuesday.

The bridge -- which connects Lehigh Drive in West Easton to the park -- closed to drivers and pedestrians last year after a structural flaw was discovered.

Hopkins said the state needs to do a final inspection before the bridge can reopen.
