Man Shot and Wounded on Ferry Street

Easton police seek two men who may be connected to West Ward shooting.

Easton police are looking for two men with "New York accents" who they say shot and wounded a man early Thursday morning in the West Ward.

According to police, officers responded to a report of gunfire near Seventh and Ferry streets around 4:30 a.m., but were soon dispatched to the first block of South Eighth Street, where they found the wounded man.

Police say the 21-year-old had been shot multiple times, but was expected to survive after being hospitalized. Investigators found evidence of a shooting at the Ferry/Seventh intersection.

According to police, the man and his attackers had some sort of dispute before the shooting. 

Police are looking for two men:

  • A Hispanic man, who was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood down at the time of the shooting. He's about five feet, seven inches or five feet, eight inches tall and between 130 and 140 pounds. He ran from the scene heading east on Ferry Street.
  • A black man, who was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with the hood up at the time of the shooting. He's roughly five feet, nine inches or five feet, 10 inches tall. He ran from the scene headed north on Seventh Street.
