'Queen of Green' to Celebrate Gay Pride in Easton

Acclaimed drag performer Hedda Lettuce coming to Mercantile Home August 17.

Easton's Mercantile Home is going "green" for its next "Live at the Gold Room" performance.

Hedda Lettuce, an acclaimed drag performer, will appear at Mercantile Home Saturday August 17 for an evening of music and comedy in connection with the Lehigh Valley's Gay Pride celebrations.

"The self proclaimed 'Queen of Green', Hedda Lettuce, has established herself as New York City’s premiere drag queen," Mercantile Home said in a news release.

She's appeared on Sex and the City, The Tyra Banks Show, Project Runway, The MTV Awards, Ugly Betty, and The Dave Chapelle Show, along with the films Too Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything....,  and Go Go Crazy.

“We are very excited to celebrate Lehigh Valley Gay Pride by bringing New York City’s downtown drag diva to downtown Easton," Mercantile co-owner Ron Morris said. "Her bawdy humor, hysterically naughty song parodies, and green hair are a perfect addition to our Distinctive Music Series at the Gold Room.”

Tickets for Hedda Lettuce: Live at the Gold Room are available at Mercantile Home (140 Northampton St.) or online at www.mercantilehome.com
