Chili Pepper Fest Returns Next Week

"10 Deadly Peppers" contest will test visitors to Easton Farmers' Market.

Think you've got a strong stomach? A tough tongue?

Put them to the test next Saturday at the Easton Farmers' Market's 5th annual Chili Pepper Fest.

One of the highlights of the event is the 10 Deadly Peppers pepper eating contest, which will feature last year's champion, Lafayette College student Ross Chulmsky, returning to defend his title.

Vendors will have a variety of hot peppers for sale, from Poblanos to ghost peppers.

The farmers' market will extend its hours for the day, staying open from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
