A quick moving storm is expected to bring snow to Easton this afternoon and tonight, according to a hazardous weather outlook issued by the National Weather Service. Snow could start falling in Easton mainly after 4 p.m., the weather service says, with more snow likely early Saturday morning before 3 a.m. There's also the possibility of snow, sleet and freezing rain in the forecast Monday. Temperatures will continue to stay well below freezing over the weekend. We could see a warm up next week, with temperatures around 50 by Wednesday.

Here are two highlights from the annual Winter Outlook from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration: The winter outlook offers no clear trend for Pennsylvania or the Northeast.
