Curtis Phillips Jr., 24, whose last known address was in Plainfield Township, is charged with drug possession, possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.  According to a press release, State Trooper Michael Kalinchock stopped a gray 2003 Nissan Maxima around 8 p.m. Wednesday for several traffic violations.  Court records say Kalinchock spotted Phillips stop at a stop sign at Morgan Hill Road near Line Street, and then rapidly accelerate. Robert Chris Carbonell found in his car parked on the middle of I-78, police say.

State police Trooper Scott Labar confronted a potentially deadly situation Friday night. A white Infiniti with New York license plates was stopped on Interstate 78 around 8:45 not far from the Easton exit, straddling the broken white lines of the eastbound lanes. In the driver’s seat of the 2008 M35 sedan was a Brooklyn, N.Y., man -- Robert Chris Carbonell, 37 -- who was conscious but unresponsive. There was a white powdery substance near his nostrils, court records say. Labar was able to move the car, whose engine was running, into the median. He then requested an ambulance. Incredibly, the records make no mention of any traffic mishaps. One of two troopers who came to assist Labar found a small ziplock baggie with white powder as well as…

Alana Lee Rehrig, 26, jailed on assault charges after allegedly stabbing two men in Glendon Saturday.

On Christmas Eve, a Glendon woman declared “I feel like killing you” to either her boyfriend or his father – she couldn’t remember which one – and then stabbed both of them with a 12-inch butcher knife, according to court records. The incident started when the suspect, Alana Lee Rehrig, 26, of 159 Main St., got into an argument with her boyfriend’s father, the records say. The father told police Rehrig, threatening to kill him, stabbed him in the left pectoral muscle of his chest. The son tried to break up the fight by picking her up and pushing her to the ground.
