Easton mayor to present 'Longevity Award' to businesses that have been downtown more than 25 years.

6 Things to Do in Easton This Weekend

Sigal remembers aritst Samuel Moon, 'Fiddler on the Roof' in Wilson, and more...

On my first proper tour of the Sigal Museum, I tried to see as much of the building as I could. But nothing there stayed with me like the paintings of Samuel Moon, an Easton artist who did portraits of some of the city's most prominent residents. This weekend, the museum will begin "Many Moons Remembered," a 10-week tribute to Moon that includes a reception Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The event will also include a presention by Melissa Hough, "Self-Taught Artist: Samuel Moon." The exhibit runs from March 17 to May 31. Also this weekend:

One of those surveys -- drawn by an 18-year-old Washington -- is on display now at the Sigal Museum, part of its “George Washington: A Sampling of Important Manuscripts” exhibit, which is on display until Feb. 28. In a news release, the museum said it hopes the exhibit gives visitors "a deeper understanding of Washington as a man, family member, land owner, and leader." The exhibit includes a letter written by Washington in 1770, a letter from 1799 dealing with Washington's death as well as a portrait of Washington discovered on the banks of the Delaware River And if you're interested in a more in-depth look, visit the museum …

Battle of the Bulge Vets Tell Story in Easton

Morris Metz and Lionel Adda share memories of pivotal World War II battle.
