Restaurants old and new offer fixed prices on meals all week.
Easton's restaurant community is more popular than ever. If you're keen to check it out, but also keeping an eye on your wallet, Easton Restaurant Week -- which kicks off today -- is made for you. From now until Saturday, 13 restaurants in and around Easton will offer multi-course lunches and dinners at fixed prices. Among those restaurants are two of the newer ones in Easton: Mesa on S. Third Street, and Maxim's 22 on Northampton Street. Maxim's 22 and Sette Luna are both sponsoring the week. Also on the list are several Restaurant Week veterans. (Reservations are suggested).

The first Polar Plunge comes to town, Restaurant Week begins, and more...
Good morning everyone. Friday has arrived, so let's take a look at some of the things happening this weekend in Easton. 1. Saturday brings the first-ever Polar Plunge to the city. There will be live music all day, but the plunge itself -- which involves scores of people jumping into the chilly Delaware River at Scott Park -- doesn't happen until 1 p.m. The plunge benefits the Special Olympics. 2. Easton Restaurant Week begins Sunday and runs until Saturday, Jan. 26. Some of the city's most high-profile eatieries will be offering fixed prices on lunch and dinner all week. 3. New restaurants Mesa and Maxim's 22 join Restaurant Week line-up.

Starting Jan. 20, 13 restaurants in and around Easton will offer multi-course lunches and dinners at fixed prices. Among those restaurants are two of the newer ones in Easton: Mesa on S. From Jan. 22 to Jan. 28, it will be a lot cheaper to dine at some of Easton's best restaurants.
Easton Restaurant Week returns Sunday, offering diners to sample some of the city's best food without spending too much money. This time around, the following restaurants are involved: The week runs from January 22 to Saturday, January 28, with the restaurants offering $8 lunches and $30 dinners.
