Head Start is a pre-kindergarten program for children, infants to age five. This location is inside the New Creation Church of Christ (formerly the Memorial United Church of Christ). This is only one of 56 Head Start classrooms in the Lehigh Valley. The program strives to provide support and nurturing for the enhancement of children's intellectual, emotional and social skills. Head Start only accepts children from families whose income is below the poverty line, who are considered to be most in need of developmental aid.
