Winter Concert, Sphere Show This Week in Easton

A look at what's happening this week in and around Easton.

Good morning everyone. We're at the start of a new week, so let's take a look at what's happening over the next few days in Easton.

1. Easton Area High School presents its winter band concert Thursday at 7 p.m. at the school auditorium.

2. The Lehigh Valley Breastfeeding Moms group meets Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Easton Area Community Center, 901 Washington St. Si hablas Español eres bienvenida!

3. The Easton Area Public Library's adult and junior Friends of the Library group present a Family Games Night Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the library. There are board, card, and trivia games for adults, while children can choose from Charades, Headband, Uno, Connect 4 Launcher, Hungry Hungry Hippos, and a library book scavenger hunt.

4. Learn about satellites orbiting the earth through the sphere at the Nurture Nature Center Thursday at 7 p.m. 

5. The Sigal Museum will hold a free screening of Crossed Sabers: The Story of the U.S. Horse Cavalry, the latest History Channel production by Easton's Lou Reda Films, all day Thursday beginning at 9:30 a.m.

6. The Easton Area School Board holds its monthly committee meeting this week at 6 p.m. at the administration building, 1801 Bushkill Drive.
