Hello everyone. We're at the start of a new week, typically one of the busiest in Easton. Let's see what the next few days have to offer.

1. Friday night brings us the Peace Candle lighting, and all the associated festivities. The actual lighting ceremony is at 8 p.m., but there's activity in Centre Square leading up to that event, plus numerous downtown businesses holding open houses from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

2. Thursday brings us the annual Thanksgiving Day game between Easton and Phillipsburg, who'll meet for their 107th match at 10:30 a.m. at Lafayette College. Be sure to look at our guide of where not to park on College Hill.

3. Lafayette College's Contemporary Music Ensemble performs Monday night at 8 at the Williams Center for the Arts.

4. Easton City Council meets Wednesday at 6 p.m. at city hall.

5. ConneXions Gallery will hold one of its $10 Drink & Draw sessions Tuesday at 8 p.m. BYOB and bring your own materials.

6. Congressman Matt Cartwright holds a town hall meeting on the Affordable Care Act Monday at 1 p.m. at the Wilson Community Center.
