Charter School Hearing, Martin Luther King Day This Week in Easton

Good morning everyone. We're at the start of a new week. Let's take a look at what's happening this week in Easton.

1. Monday is Martin Luther King Day. Here's our list of services in the city, as well as what's closed.

2. The Easton Area School Board will hold a hearing Tuesday at 7 p.m. about a proposed charter school at the Easton Area Middle School seventh and eighth grade auditorium.

3. Easton City Council meets Wednesday at 6 p.m. The city's zoning hearing board meets Monday at 6:30 p.m.

4. The Easton Area High School PTSA meets Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the school library.

5. Easton Restaurant Week is underway until Saturday. Nineteen different Easton area restaurants are offering lower-than-normal prices.
