Block Watch, Orpheus Orchestra This Week in Easton

A look at what's happening this week in Easton.

Good morning everyone. We're at the start of a new week, so let's take a look at what's happening over the next few days in Easton.

1. Easton's Block Watch holds its reorganization meeting for the year Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the State Theatre. If you're interested in joining, this is a good time to do so. 

2. Lafayette College's Orpheus Chamber Orchestra will perform Tuesday with pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii. Showtime is at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28 at the college's Williams Center, and ticket holders are invited to watch rehearsal at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $29 and can be purchased online or by calling the center box office at (610) 330-5009 from noon to 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, plus one hour before the performance.

3. The Easton Area School Board meets Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the district administration building at 1801 Bushkill Drive.

4. ConneXions Gallery, at 213 Northampton St., hosts one of its Drink 'n' Draw sessions Tuesday at 7 p.m. It's $10 to get in. BYOB/materials.

5. The State Theatre presents the musical Hair, Thursday at 7:30 p.m., at 453 Northampton St.
