Lafayette Will Remember Late Lacrosse Coach

Bill Lawson, who spent four decades at Lafayette, died in a car accident last month.

Lafayette College will hold a memorial service next month for Bill Lawson, a former lacrosse coach at the school killed in a car crash last month.

The memorial is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 8 at 2 p.m. at Lafayette's Kirby Sports Center. If you're planning to attend, you should RSVP here.

Lawson, who spent 37 years at Lafayette before retiring in 2002, died July 13 in a car accident in Hunterdon County, NJ.

The college's website lists him as "One of the most well-respected lacrosse coaches in the nation" and "the winningest men's lacrosse coach in Lafayette's history."
