The Peace Candle's neat and all, but how come Easton doesn't play up its status at the home of Santa Claus?

That's Santa A. Claus, to be exact, who lives with Mrs. Claus on the city's South Side, and who has a pretty bus schedule each December, from what we can see from his website calendar.

One of those stops was Paxinosa Elementary Thursday night, for the annual Milk & Cookies with Santa event, which drew hundreds of families to the West Ward grade school.

Kids got to visit with Santa, have some cookies, work on art projects, write letters to troops overseas and take home books from the Cops 'n' Kids Reading Room.
