Paxinosa Project Will Cost More Than Planned
Renovations at Easton elementary school will cost district about $950,000 more than expected.
It will cost the Easton Area School District about $950,000 more than expected to renovate Paxinosa Elementary School.
According to the Express-Times, the district had planned to spend $8.3 million over the next two years to make masonry repairs on the West Ward school and upgrade its heating, cooling and ventilation systems.
But district engineers say HVAC costs have increased in the past few months, bringing the project's cost up to $9.26 million.
