Notre Dame Hosts Anti-DUI Program

"Every 15 Minutes" aims to provide grim lesson about drinking and driving.

With the prom and graduation coming up, local high schools are keen to remind their students the importance of not driving under the influence.

To hammer home the life altering -- and deadly -- consequences of impaired driving, schools host programs such as the "Every 15 Minutes" event that was held Thursday at Notre Dame High School.

The program depicts a fatal crash: students are taken away in ambulances, "drunk" drivers are arrested, and parents are even notified that their children have "died." Photographer Tara Connolly was at Notre Dame Thursday to capture the scene.
