Peter Beinart: The Peace Process, the Arab Spring, and America

Peter Beinart is Associate Professor of Journalism and Political Science at The City University of New York, Senior Political Writer for The Daily Beast-Newsweek, a Senior Fellow at the New America Foundation, and contributor to "Time." He has published two books, "The Good Fight: Why Liberals—and Only Liberals—Can Win the War on Terror and Make America Great Again” and “The Icarus Syndrome: A History of American Hubris.” His newest book, “The Crisis of Zionism,” which expands his “New York Review of Books” essay, “The Failure of the American Jewish Establishment,” will be released in April 2012. Beinart has written for, among others, “The New York Times,” “Wall Street Journal,” “Financial Times,” “Boston Globe,” “Atlantic,” “Slate,” and “Polity: the Journal of the Northeastern Political Science Studies Association.” Beinart will speak about the Arab Spring, the Arab-Israeli conflict, and the future of Israel.
