Easton Students Return to School Monday

Power restored to all Easton area schools after a week in the dark.

Are your kids going stir-crazy after a week at home? Are you?

Fear not. School is back in session Monday for Easton and Wilson area students.

The Easton Area School District posted a message on its webstie saying power had been restored to all district schools and offices in the wake of Superstorm Sandy.

Wilson students will also return to class Monday, with one change:

It would issue a two-hour delay Monday by 5:30 a.m. for Williams Township Elementary School students.

Students in grades 1-4 at the school will go to the Wilson Intermediate School on Monday. Kindergarten classes will be canceled. The district will continue to provide hot showers for residents tonight from 6 to 8 at the Intermediate School. 

And of course, students in Easton will return to class Monday only to have another day off on Tuesday, as schools close for Election Day.
