Easton Area Budget Meetings Announced

School board schedules three workshops between this week and April, including a day-long meeting April 13

The Easton Area School Board introduced its  earlier this week. Now comes the work of of filling in a $10.5 million gap. The current budget shows the district spending $141 million, but only bringing in $131 million.

To get that done, the board has scheduled a series of budget workshops, starting with one slated for Thursday at 6:30 p.m. 

The next meet is scheduled for Thursday, March 10, at 6:30 p.m., with a daylong meeting on Wednesday, April 13, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The board is expected to meet that night to adopt the proposed budget.
