West Easton OKs DUI Center

Borough council in West Easton approves plan for 100-bed Northampton County center.

West Easton borough council has approved a lease tha will bring a 100-bed DUI center to the community.

According to the Morning Call, council voted 6-1 Monday night in favor of the lease, which is expected to give West Easton $50,000 a year in per capita tax revenue. A representative from the developer told council the center could be operating as early as next month.

The property is owned by developer Abraham Atiyeh, who has also propossed a .
