Easton Could Regulate Solar Panels

Easton city councilwoman proposes ordinance that would control where/how panels are installed.

Easton's Planning Commission is reviewing a proposal that would regulate the installation of solar panels, the Express Times reports.

The ordinance was introduced by Councilwoman Elinor Warner, who told the Express she doesn't want to see solar panels go to the way of satellite dishes: installed without much thought to how they look.

Her ordinance will mandate property owners install grand panels in backyards, and roof panels on flat roofs.
