Downtown on Council's Agenda This Week

If you're a Downtown resident -- or at least someone who spends a decent amount of time there -- you may want to get to the next two city council meetings.

Tonight's public safety committee meeting will focus on parking, specifically the parking times on downtown meters. Council has been for the last few months. That meeting's scheduled for 6 p.m. at .

Then on Wednesday, council will hold a hearing on the proposed Neighborhood Improvement District, which we've . That's at 6 p.m. at the auditorium (to accommodate what's expected to be a large crowd.)
