DelBacco, Pintabone Will Face Off This Fall

Republican and Democratic school board candidates easily win their parties nods.

The race for Kerry Myers' soon-to-be-vacant seat on the Easton Area School Board isn't over.

both easily won their parties respective nominations Tuesday, meaning they will face off in November to represent the school board's Region II.

According to unofficial results, Pintabone won 76 percent of the vote, fending off challenges by DelBacco and Republican Bill Timmann, who both cross-filed to run on both ballots.

On the Republican ballot, DelBacco received 57 percent of the vote to Timmann's 41 (there were a few write-in votes making up the difference).
