Ken Brown Seeks Third Term on City Council

He says he's helped foster economic development and harmony on council

City Councilman Ken Brown wants another term in office.

Speaking to supporters Tuesday evening at the , Brown said his first two terms were marked by positive economic change in Easton.

"Where there was blight, there's a promise of a new beginning," Brown said, using the museum itself as an example. He also pointed to the city's increased bond and the fact that its held the line on taxes for three years.

Brown added that his time on council --helped along by his colleagues and Mayor Sal Panto -- brought "professionalism" back to council chambers.

Brown is the second city official to announce re-election plans this year. Controller . Panto has scheduled "a very special announcement about the future of Easton" for Thursday night, according to an e-mail that comes from the "Sal Panto For Mayor Committee."
