5 Things to Look Out for This Week In Easton

Candidates nights, the Easton House tour, and more.

Good morning, everyone. Here's what's happening this week:

1. We're a little more than a week away from the primary election, and the Easton Area PTA and League of Women Voters are hosting forums for school board candidates. The first of these -- for Region II candidates -- happens tonight, at at 7 p.m. A forum for Region I candidates is scheduled for Wednesday, at 7 p.m., at the Chrin Community Center in Palmer Township.

2. Easton City Council is expected to vote on funding for special events such as the , and this week at its regular Wednesday meeting, scheduled for 6 p.m.

3. The 31st annual Easton House Tour is , from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at seven homes and four public buildings around the city. Visit the Easton Main Street Initiative or call 610-330-9940 for more information.

4. The West Ward Neighborhood Partnership will unveil new banners for the Wednesday at 1 p.m. at its office at 668 Northampton St.
