Easton Woman Shot in Foot at South Side Apartment

Late Friday, a 30-year-old woman was hospitalized after being shot in the foot at her South Side home, according to police.

The woman, whose name was not released, was shot in her foot inside her first floor apartment at 130 W. Wilkes Barre St., where police were called at 10:17 p.m., reports The Express Times.

According to WFMZ, the apartment was occupied by four adults and a child. Multiple bullets were fired and apparently came through the back of the house. Police said it probably was not a random act, that the woman was a target.

Early this morning, police were getting a warrant to search the home.
