An Easton woman stabbed her boyfriend with a kitchen knife during an argument Friday night and then apparently wound up with frostbite, police said.

Britney Torres, 23, of 250 Ann St., Apartment D5, was charged with simple assault with a deadly weapon and harassment.

Easton police simultaneously responded to the Ann Street apartment building and Easton Hospital for the stabbing victim, according to the arrest affidavit. Torres had, in the meantime, called asking for help because she had frostbite on her feet, police said.

Torres told police that her feet were in pain because she was out in the snow with no shoes for an extended period of time after an argument with her boyfriend—the stabbing victim.

Torres was arraigned before on-duty District Judge David Tidd of Lower Saucon Township and committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail
