A Wilson man admitted to police he pushed his ex-girlfriend Saturday morning because she wouldn't leave his home.

"And she went flying" into a computer tower, causing two lacerations and swelling to her face, court records say.

Brandon C. Toole, 35, of 1915 Lehigh St., was charged with simple assault and harassment. The alleged incident occurred around 9:42am.

Wilson police Sgt. Christian Meehan said in a criminal complaint that he saw "two bleeding lacerations" to the right side of the woman's face, which also was swollen and red.

She told him she and Toole were have a "verbal argument" when he pushed her into the computer tower.

Toole was arraigned later Saturday morning by on-duty District Judge Todd Strohe of Bangor and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
