A tractor trailer overturned Sunday morning in the westbound lanes of Interstate 78 in Williams Township, near the toll plaza, state police at Belfast said.
According to police, driver Derrick Allan Huffer, of Mooringsport, La., struck a guard rail after traveling through the toll plaza. The truck and trailer tipped toward the driver's side then overturned and slid off the road, knocking down a sign and light pole.
Easton Auto Body responded and removed the truck.
The accident happened at 5:45 a.m.
