Police: Worker Stole $2,000 from Easton Store

Bucks County man accused of pocketing cash from Square One Exxon.

A Bucks County man is accused of taking money from an Easton convenience store while working there last year.

Steven Bunn, 21, of Ferndale, was charged Wednesday with theft and receiving stolen property.

According to court records, the case began when the manager of the Square One Exxon on S. Third Street contacted Easton police to report an employee who was stealing from the store.

Police say Bunn made several thefts from the market between August and September 2012, taking money from customer purchases, but then voiding the sales and pocketing their cash.

He is also accused of stealing cigarettes, lottery tickets and other items. Bunn was free on $5,000 unsecured bail.
