An Easton woman was jailed Wednesday after assaulting her mother, city police said.
According to police, Jordin Alicia Werner, 20, of 676 Church St. got into an argument with her mother, Angel Rogers, at their home early Wednesday morning which ended with Werner punching and kicking Rogers in the head.
Court papers said the arresting officers smelled alcohol on Werner. As they tried to detain her, she slipped out of the handcuffs. She was arraigned before District Judge Gay Elwell in Easton, and charged with simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and underage drinking.

Werner was sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail.
