Police: Wilson Bank Teller Stole $73,000

Police in New Jersey say Lisa Frace took money from elderly credit union customers.

A Wilson woman working as a teller for a New Jersey credit union is accused of taking more than $73,000 from elderly customers, according to published reports.

Lisa Frace, 32, of the 1900 block of Ferry St., is charged with seven counts of theft and 35 counts of forgery, the Express-Times reports.

The newspaper says Frace, an employee of the Baker Federal Credit Union in Lopatcong Township, stole $73,685 from customers starting in 2007.

The Morning Call says the credit union alerted township police after a customer noticed an unauthorized withdrawal from her savings account. A closer review found thousands of dollars missing.
