Police Say Man Sold Heroin to Informant

Patrick T. Hughes, 34, accused of selling drugs on Black Friday in Easton.

An Easton man has been charged with selling heroin to a confidential police informant near N. Seventh and Bushkill streets on Black Friday, according to court papers.

Patrick T. Hughes, 34, who had no known address, was charged with delivery of a controlled substance -- a grade-one felony -- for the alleged heroin sale that took place Nov. 23.

Hughes was arraigned late Wednesday before on-duty District Judge Roy Manwaring of Bethlehem and committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
