Police: Neston Heights Shooter NOT Caught

Despite mayor's statement Tuesday, the man police say shot two men is not in custody.

Speaking to the , Easton Mayor Sal Panto said that Easton police had found the suspect behind last month's double shooting in Neston Heights.

But that isn't the case, city police said Wednesday morning. Investigators are still looking for , who they say shot and wounded two men on March 25.

Police are "actively pursuing" leads in their search for Cosme, Lt. Matthew Gerould said. He said he's not sure why Panto thought Cosme was in custody.
