Police say the victim, 26, told investigators he was approached by three men. One demanded his wallet, then the others punched him in the face.

The man told police the robber who demanded his wallet had a gun. After taking the wallet, the men ran south toward W. Nesquehoning Street.

Macken, 46,  is charged with robbery, simple assault, conspiracy to commit robbery and simple assault, theft and reckless endangerment and an illegal weapons charge. He is believed to frequent the South Side and the 1600 block of Washington Street in Wilson.
