Police Name Suspects in South Side Robbery

Easton police issue arrest warrants for two men suspected of mugging another man on the South Side.

Easton police have identified two men they say robbed another man last week on the city's South Side.

Police on Tuesday got arrest warrants for  Kenneth Maurice Ennis and Maynard Macken, who are accused of a holdup Dec. 26 on W. St. Joseph Street.

Police say the victim, 26, told investigators he was approached by three men. One demanded his wallet, then the others punched him in the face. 

The man told police the robber who demanded his wallet had a gun. After taking the wallet, the men ran south toward W. Nesquehoning Street.

Ennis, 24, is charged with robbery, simple assault, conspiracy to commit robbery and simple assault, theft and reckless endangerment. He's believed to frequent the 200 block of W. Nesquehoning Street. Ennis is 24, black, 6-feet tall and 170 pounds.

Macken, 46,  is charged with robbery, simple assault, conspiracy to commit robbery and simple assault, theft and reckless endangerment and an illegal weapons charge. He is believed to frequent the South Side and the 1600 block of Washington Street in Wilson.

The men may be armed. Police ask anyone who sees them or knows where they are to call 911.
