Police: Masked Men Steal Drugs From Wilson CVS

Wilson police are looking for a pair of men who stole narcotics from a borough pharmacy at gunpoint.

Police in Wilson say two masked men -- one of whom brandished a handgun -- stole drugs from a borough drug store early Monday.

According to police, officers got a call about an armed robbery at the CVS at 15th and Northampton streets around 1:20 a.m.

Workers in the store told police one man -- who carried a black handgun -- demanded narcotics from the pharmacist, while his accomplice rounded up the other workers and hearded them back to the pharmacy.

After getting what they came for, the men ran, heading into Easton. Police say it's not clear how much the men stole.

Police say the man with a gun was white with a medium build, wearing a black sweatshirt, jeans, white sneakers and a dark-colored baseball cap.

The second man was white with a medium/heavy build, wearing a green sweatshirt with white letters, a gray knit hat, gray jeans and white sneakers. Both men had masks over their faces.

No injuries were reported. Police ask anyone with information to call Det. Chris Meehan at 610-258-8542 or the Northampton County Control Center at 610-759-2200.
