Police: Man Vandalized Easton Apartment

Malik Jordan, 22, of Wilson, charged with breaking into a West Ward apartment Wednesday.

A Wilson man vandalized an Easton apartment building and a nearby car Wednesday night, according to .

Malik Jordan, 22, of the 2100 block of Butler St., is accused of breaking into 1107 Washington St. around 11:30 p.m.

Once inside the building, police say Jordan broke several objects inside a third floor apartment, as well as windows on the first floor.

Police say Jordan also kicked an air conditioner out of the window, so that it was hanging from the third floor. The AC unit had to be taken down by the Easton Fire Department. 

He is also accused of smashing his victim's car windows with a large table top.

Jordan was picked up at 15th and Butler Street a short time later, and charged with criminal mischief, burglary and reckless endangerment. He was arraigned before District Judge Patricia Romig-Passaro in Bethlehem, and sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $30,000 bail.
