Police: Man Burned Wife With Hot Ravioli

Easton police say Christopher Shareen threw a pot of hot raviolis at his wife early Monday.

An Easton man was jailed Monday morning for allegedly burning his wife by throwing a pot of hot food at her during an argument.

say Christopher Shareen, 39, of 17 N. 13th St., was in an argument with his wife early Monday when he threw a pot of hot ravioli at her, causing a burn to her upper arm.

According to police, Shareen was not home when they arrived, but later returned. He was taken into custody, and police discovered he also had cocaine in his car.

Shareen was arraigned before on charges of simple assault, harassment, driving while under the influence, and possession of cocaine. He was sent to in lieu of $10,000 bail.
