Easton police traveled to Connecticut Monday to arrest a man they say is responsible for a masked holdup in the city earlier this year.
According to police, Phillip Archer was already in prison in Suffield, CT when city detectives took him into custody.
Archer is believed to have robbed a man at gunpoint May 28 on the 100 block of S. Sixth Street. The case against him is still under investigation. At the time of the robbery, police said two men were involved.
Archer is charged with criminal conspiracy, robbery, reckless endangerment, simple assault and an unlawful gun ownership charge. He was arraigned and sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
