Police Investigate South Side Gunfire

are looking for a man suspected of firing several gunshots in a South Side neighborhood early Monday.

The Express-Times reports police responded to a report of gunfire around 3 a.m. in the 300 block of W. Berwick Street.

No injuries were reported, and police discovered no property damage. Investigators found evidence that the suspect had fired six shots.

Police are looking for a man who had been seen in the area before the shooting. He's black, 6-foot-1, thin, and was wearing dark pants and a white T-shirt.

The scene of Monday morning's investigation was just a few blocks from the place where a suspect during a similar incident Aug. 21.
