Police Investigate Apparent Assault and Stabbing

The following information was provided by Easton police.

 

Easton police said they are investigating an assault and stabbing on Thanksgiving that is apparently domestic-related.

Police said they were dispatched to N. Warren and Willow streets at 10:18 p.m. on a report of a man bleeding from his head. They said they found Joaquin Martinez-Perez, 39, of 124 N. Warren St., Apartment 1.

Martinez-Perez had a cut to his head and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Police said his injuries do not appear life-threatening.

Easton police detectives, who obtained a search warrant for Martinez-Perez' apartment, said a preliminary investigation indicates the case is domestic-related.
