Police: Gunpoint Robbery in West Ward

Easton police are looking for two men who robbed another man at gunpoint Monday afternoon on Raspberry Street.

Easton police say two men robbed another man at gunpoint Monday afternoon in the West Ward.

According to police, the robbery happened along S. Raspberry Street just after 2 p.m.

Police say two men approached the victim -- a 32-year-old man -- and pointed a handgun at him.

The man holding the gun was black, with dark skin, dreadlocks and a skinny build, about 5'9'' and wearing a white tank top, blue shorts and a red bandana covering his face.

Police say the second robber was also a black male, about 5'7'' with a skinny build and short black hair and wearing black shorts and a black T-shirt.

It was not immediately clear exactly where on Raspberry Street the robbery happened. A police news release listed two different intersections: Raspberry and Pine streets and Raspberry and Spruce streets.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 610-250-6634.

Again, there needs to be more police patrolling the streets. The police need to be seen to at least make them think twice, especially the known parks. The police need to make a stronger presence. They are rarely scene at night
