Police: Forks Woman Bit, Scratched Husband

Shelia Gallagher charged after domestic altercation Wednesday in Easton.

Easton police say a Forks Township woman assaulted and bit her husband on College Hill Wednesday afternoon.

Shelia Gallagher, 62, of 2805 N. Delaware Drive, was charged with simple assault and harassment, police said.

According to a news release, police responded around 2 p.m. to a report of a domestic disturbance in the fire alley between Cattell and McCartney streets. There, they found Thomas Church, Gallagher's husband, with scratches, brusies and bite marks.

He told police Gallagher -- who was still on the scene -- had assaulted him. She admitted to the assault, police said, and was taken into custody, arraigned and released.
