Detectives found that around the time of the theft, Williams had sold Easton Iron & Metal light scrap iron "consistent with the weight of a stove," for $7.70.

Williams was arraigned before night duty District Judge Nancy Matos Gonzalez in Bethlehem and committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $7,500 bail.

It was always said that the crime that netted the least return on risk was bank robbery. I think that needs to be amended to stove snatching. $7.70?
