Police: Easton Man Had 200 Grams of Crack

Ray Evans, of Washington Street, arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop by Easton police.

Easton police say a West Ward man had 200 grams of crack cocaine with him when he was arrested Thursday.

Police say Ray Evans, 34, of 1142 Washington St., was stopped by vice/narcotics unit investigators in the 100 block of South 11th Street Thursday. 

Police say two searches revealed Evans was carrying packages of crack, each containing 100 grams of the drug.

Evans was arraigned before in Wilson, and sent to in lieu of $75,000 bail.
