Police: Copper Stolen From Easton Homes
Two Phillipsburg men charged with taking downspouts from houses on College Hill.
A pair of Phillipsburg men were jailed Monday after they allegedly stole copper downspouts from homes on College Hill.
Ryan Hnasko and Joseph Duckworth, both 25, are charged with theft and conspiracy to commit theft, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief and defiant trespass, Easton police said in a news release.
Police say the downspouts were taken from homes on the 700 block of Paxinosa Avenue. The men were arrested following a traffic stop on the 100 block of Bushkill Street.

Both men were sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
