Teen Used Plastic Shotgun in South Side Robbery, Police Say

Two teenagers accused in two weekend robberies, home invasion attempt in Easton.

Easton police say two teenagers used a knife and a plastic shotgun to pull off two robberies and an attempted home invasion in the city's South Side.

Police say a 16-year-old boy was arrested Thursday afternoon in connection with two of the Sunday morning incidents: a robbery on the 400 block of Davis Street at 12:27 a.m., and the home invasion attempt at 1:46 a.m. on the 600 block of Charles Street.

Witnesses in both those incidents described robbers using a long gun, possibly a shotgun, and police say investigators found a plastic shotgun nearby.

Another boy, also 16, had been arrested Wednesday in connection with the Davis Street robbery and another incident Friday night on the 100 block of Holt Street.

Both teens have been sent to the Northampton County juvenile detention center.

Earlier this week, police were looking for a runaway named Al-faquan Craft in connection with the robberies, and later said he was taken into custody.
